David Nichols

Owner/President David Nichols has over 25 years of operations, business development and corporate management experience and serves as Co-Owner and President of DR2. His business acumen in forming effective teaming relationships among companies and identifying and developing high-performing operational organizations are a key to the success of DR2. David has been responsible for P&L for his own consulting companies as well as for other firms, and has extensive experience in facility design, and technology development, deployment and integration. Co-owners Mark Spradling, Steve Threet and David all served in the Navy and have become lifelong friends. David grew up 20 miles from the Duncan DR2 facility, is married, has two adult children, and enjoys fitness, travel, and reading.

Mark Spradling

Co-Owner/Construction & Facility Manager Mark served in the United States Navy for 10 years aboard the Daniel Webster SSBN 626 working on targeted missile weapon systems. For the past 14 years Mark has owned and operated the Cabinet Factory, which is also located in Duncan, Oklahoma. Mark is a proven manager, successfully directing large teams to accomplish goals and meet deadlines. These skills are extremely valuable to the success of DR2.  When Mark isn’t busy coordinating projects you can find him spending time with his family or on the golf course.

Steve Threet

Co-Owner/Operations & Commissioning Manager Steve brings over 25 years of operations and project management experience to the organization, in addition to having served in the US Navy for close to 9 years. Within the span of Steve’s career, he demonstrated versatile technical ability having served as a senior operations and/or technical manager at four Department of Energy Nuclear sites, started up and/or operated over eight different nuclear facilities, secured a patent, and successfully launched a product from idea conception to its placement into major brick and mortar stores throughout the country. These diverse experiences positively influence the growth and direction of DR2. When time allows, Steve enjoys golf, movies, and history, but is most proud of his family and always makes time to spend with his wife, kids, and grandchildren.
